Course Description:
This 1-hour lecture by neonatologist Dr. Jessica Roberts reviews the management of sepsis in neonates. She covers both early and late onset sepsis -- the epidemiology, presentation, diagnostic criteria, and antibiotic management. Principles of antibiotic stewardship are discussed in the context of the NICU. This lecture was part of the Neonatology Didactic Series held in December 2020 via Zoom.
