Course Description:

This 40-minute lecture by cardiologist Dr. Usama Kanaan reviews pulmonary hypertension (PH) in the NICU setting, with a focus on bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)-associated PH.  Risk factors, diagnostic criteria, and interventions to lower risk and provide initial treatment are discussed.  This lecture is part of the Cardiology NICU Series presented by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology (previously known as Sibley Heart Center Cardiology).
