Course Description:

 

This presentation by neonatologist Dr. Lindsay Sternad, Angel II Transport manager Amanda Simpson, and neonatal outreach coordinator Jessi Barnes provides an overview for the initial assessment and transport considerations for the neonatal suspected of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) including performing a Sarnat exam and when to consider HIE.

This presentation was hosted by the Atlanta Regional Perinatal Center's Neonatal Outreach Team via Zoom.
